Loot Creat April 2015 Unboxing

My son’s potentially last Loot Crate box showed up yesterday.  Actually, it was a really good one, and the best of the three we’ve gotten.

Here’s his unboxing video, and, sorry about the vertical video, I honestly didn’t notice that I did that until it had uploaded on YouTube:

So, if you are skipping my baby’s video (T_T), the contents were:

  • Dungeons and Dragons T-Shirt (red in color AND school appropriate this time),
  • An awesome DnD themed bow tie (red with gold dragons and gold dice on the pattern),
  • Game of Thrones flash drive shaped with the Stark’s wolf crest,
  • A blow-up Chuck E Cheese crown…  Not sure that that’s about, I had thought it was the Game of Thrones Baratheon crown for a minute, then I realized it had big stars on the points.  Not sure what to think about that one, kind of goofy. 😛
  • Obligatory Loot Crate button,
  • Princess Bride playing cards set (regular, not a special game),
  • Harry Potter 9 3/4 Luggage Tag,
  • Game of Thrones magnet set,
  • and then the book explaining what you have in your box – still oddly placed at the bottom of the box.

I have to admit, the bow tie really took this box to the next level for me, and I’ve been trying to keep my husband from stealing it.  Unfortunately, the company that made this item, Black Tie Geek, isn’t open for business just yet.  Too bad, since I was really interested to see what else they had to offer.

The Hour of Stark flash drive was also really, really cool, and a Loot Crate exclusive.  And I’m amazed that my son recanted on the luggage tag being the actual 9 3/4 (I’m assuming in the books it says “nine and three quarters” specifically).

It’s like he went:  *Gasp!*  “It’s the Harry Potter Platform!  …  Oh… No, wait, that says nine and three fourths…  Never mind.”    Eeeyup, we’re going to be teasing him on that for a while.

Again, this is probably the best Loot Crate we’ve received in his three month subscription, and this is first box that makes me consider renewing his subscription.  Of course, we’ll have to see what Geek Fuel and Nerd Blox has been throwing out first… 🙂
